Client Brief

Our client purchased a beautiful Georgian house in South County Dublin in July 2015. Although a stunning period home, it needed extensive works to bring it back to its former glory. Previous owners had gone with a more modern design for the interior but my client was intent on bringing it back to its classic look using paneling, period style wallpaper and tiling to good effect.

Project details

After much discussion regarding the level of work required and the type of finishes my client wished to achieve we finally started works in October 2015 and completed the project in full in April 2016.

Works included design and installation of a large bespoke painted kitchen; beautiful wood paneling throughout the house; extensive works to the original sash windows to bring them up to standard; the installation of an antique marble fireplace and grate as well as restoration of other fireplaces in the house; restoration of all original pitch pine floor boards as well as laying of new period style tiles in the lobby area.

Overall this was a stunning project to work on and our client was delighted with the results.
